Toy Value Scanner & Identifier (the “App”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) helps users identify collectible toys, estimate possible market value ranges, review condition and variant details, save scans, organize collections, and access related features.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when it may be disclosed, how long it may be retained, and the choices available to you. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

2. Who We Are

The Service is developed and operated by Blueberry Web Solutions Pvt Ltd, operating as Blueberry Web Development, with its registered and business office at Unit No. 304, South City Business Park, 770 Anandpur, Kolkata – 700107, West Bengal, India.

For applicable data-protection laws, Blueberry Web Solutions Pvt Ltd is responsible for personal information processed through the Service.

Trademark notice: The Service is an independent identification and collection-management tool. Unless expressly stated, it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mattel, Hot Wheels, or any toy, vehicle, entertainment, grading, marketplace, or collectible brand mentioned in identification results.

3. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to information processed through the App, its websites, customer-support channels, subscription features, cloud services, and related systems. It does not control independent app stores, payment providers, marketplaces, external websites, or other third-party services.

4. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Photos of toys, action figures, diecast or model cars, packaging, labels, markings, accessories, and related collectible items.
• Account details such as name, email address, sign-in identifiers, and profile information, where account creation is available.
• Collection records, scan history, saved items, notes, categories, estimated values, and preferences.
• Questions, feedback, support messages, survey answers, and other information you voluntarily submit.

Information collected automatically

• Device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, network information, and device or advertising identifiers where permitted.
• App interactions, screens viewed, feature use, scan events, crashes, diagnostics, performance data, and approximate usage timestamps.
• Subscription status, product identifiers, transaction references, trial eligibility, and purchase-related information supplied by an app store or subscription platform. We generally do not receive your complete payment-card details.

5. Photos, Camera Access, and AI Processing

Camera and photo-library permissions are used only when you choose to scan or upload an item. Submitted images may be securely transmitted to cloud-hosted artificial intelligence, machine-learning, image-recognition, database, or search providers to generate an identification result.

Processing may examine visible features such as logos, model names, manufacturing marks, colors, packaging, edition indicators, serial numbers, condition, and accessories. Results may include a probable item name, brand, series, release period, variant, condition observations, rarity indicators, and estimated value range.

Images are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature, maintain scan history when enabled, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability where legally permitted, or meet legal obligations. Where we use images to improve a model or service beyond delivering your requested result, we will rely on an appropriate legal basis and provide notice or choice where required.

Please avoid uploading images containing faces, documents, addresses, payment cards, private correspondence, or other unnecessary personal information.

6. How We Use Information

• Identify collectibles and generate item, variant, condition, rarity, and value-related results.
• Create and maintain accounts, scan history, saved collections, notes, and portfolio summaries.
• Answer follow-up questions and personalize relevant app functionality.
• Operate subscriptions, free trials, premium access, usage limits, and customer support.
• Maintain security, detect fraud or automated abuse, enforce limits, and investigate technical problems.
• Measure performance, diagnose crashes, analyze feature usage, and improve the Service.
• Send service, security, subscription, and support communications.
• Comply with legal obligations, protect rights and safety, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

7. How We Share Information

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: cloud hosting, AI/image processing, databases, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, notifications, security, and subscription-management providers.
• Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, court orders, valid government requests, or to prevent fraud, abuse, harm, or violations of rights.
• Business transactions: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
• With your direction: when you intentionally export, share, publish, or transmit a result or collection record.

We do not sell your private profile information or uploaded collectible photos to unrelated advertisers.

8. Analytics, Identifiers, and Tracking

We may use analytics and diagnostics technologies to understand app use, measure feature performance, attribute downloads or campaigns, prevent fraud, and improve stability. Depending on your device and consent settings, these tools may process device identifiers, IP address, app events, and diagnostic information.

You can control certain tracking permissions through your device settings. Disabling analytics, advertising identifiers, notifications, camera access, or photo access may limit related features.

9. Subscriptions and Payment Data

Premium features may be offered through automatically renewing subscriptions or in-app purchases. Transactions made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and governed by Apple’s payment and subscription terms. We may receive purchase status and transaction identifiers needed to verify access, manage entitlements, prevent fraud, and provide support.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when a subscription is purchased. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.

10. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account and saved collection, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

You may delete available scan records in the App and may request full account deletion through the in-app deletion option or by emailing info@blueberrywebs.com with the subject “Toy Value Scanner Account Deletion Request”. Please send the request from the email address connected to your account and include your account email or user ID so we can verify and locate the account. We will acknowledge the request and permanently delete eligible account data from active production systems within 90 days after successful identity verification. Limited records may remain where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, or enforcement purposes.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups, disaster-recovery systems, logs, or legally required archives until overwritten under standard retention schedules. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through an app store; subscriptions must be cancelled through the applicable store account.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, which may include encryption in transit, access controls, restricted staff access, monitoring, and secure hosting. No app, network, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Data Transfers

Our company and service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use contractual, organizational, or other safeguards intended to protect transferred personal information in accordance with applicable law.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the Service. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal data may contact us to request review and deletion.

14. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a privacy decision. Some rights are subject to legal limitations and identity verification.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may display links, prices, listings, marketplaces, databases, or information from third parties. We do not control their content, availability, data practices, transactions, or accuracy. Review the privacy policy and terms of any third party before sharing data or completing a transaction.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, business practices, features, or service providers. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or another appropriate channel.
